My most recent post addition to Something to Think About spoke about a conversation that I had with my older sister. The key note to the message was how she gave me a revelation that contradicted an area of my own beliefs. It was entitled Wisdom through fear of the Lord. The title was based around the fact that if we fail to have a reverential feature for God, We’re only concerned with our own understanding and viewpoints. When we were children, we sought our parents for their in sight on our every endeavor, simply because we didn’t want to displease them. We showed them reverential fear. The prime has come for us to TRULY assess that area of our lives. What matters most to you, what you think, feel, and even believe, or Gods wisdom in the matter. This video is the continuation of the first video where I told no one about the revelation that was given. I left everyone wondering. But here is the whole story. I pray that it will reveal some unseen factors in your commitment to the God of all creation.
Apostle John Morton
I would like to give you an opportunity to read the introduction of my up and coming book. Endeavors of The Heart
Endeavors of The Heart (The Search for God)
Introduction
Throughout the history of man many a war was presumably initiated in part because of religion, or should I say because of Man believing that the righteousness of God gave him power to declare war. Jeremiah 17:9
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
It is my belief that no war was ever because of religion, they have always been because of the wickedness of men’s hearts that were grasping for whatever they could find to fulfill their own endeavors. When I think about the transitions that our nation went through during the Donald Trump administration and the era of COVID, It troubles me to think how drastically the thought patterns of many were altered. This is where we have come to be in our search to truly find God. It has become filled with the white noise of adverse endeavors of the heart, blockades of personal opinion, lust for reward, and inability to accept simply being in a place of misunderstanding. If you are venturing into the pages of this book, let me begin by saying that unless you’re willing to reconsider much of what you have come to trust, the chapters that follow this introduction will offer you no growth whatsoever. I know that this applies to many of you because the falling away from the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God is greater in this day than ever before. In a portion of the letter that Paul wrote to the Hebrews he confronted the repercussions of drifting away and the ongoing affect that it would have. But at the same time he showed what would be the evidence of those who stood fast to the course of Christ and did not drift away.
Hebrews 5:11-13
11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For everyone that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Paul wasn’t speaking to people who didn’t know the precepts of God. He was speaking to people who did know and understood the things of Christ but had gradually drifted away to a place of not adhering to foundational principles. This is what’s happened to many within the body of Christ today. Some might say what are you talking about I would know if I was drifting. Let me give you an example that will show exactly how most of you are in a state of drifting away from foundational values without ability to see it..
If you really want to know where someone is in their ability to align with what’s right, get the opportunity to examine their driving habits. Every one of us have studied a driver’s manual and went to the DMV to have an inspector test our driving to see if it was to standard. And we pass the test simply because we did things as instructed in the manual. For most of us it doesn’t take more than five to 10 years before we are turning right on red without stopping, failing to signal, crossing solid lines, and speeding. Yet we still say that we’re a good driver, as if we can’t discern that we’re doing things contrary to the foundational standard. And nobody can tell you anything about the lack in your mobilities, because you’re so sure that you’ve got it all figured out that you become dull of hearing. (Hebrews 5:11)
There are so many things that we can accomplish in this life by going through a proper process of learning what it is that we desire to attain. The problem comes when we have been doing something for so long that we’ve become lackadaisical (lacking enthusiasm and determination, Carelessly lazy) with the procedure. It’s like working in a factory on an assembly line, when you first get there, your focus is impeccable, because you want to make sure that you get it right. But after a period, you’re able to become overly comfortable with what you’re doing. Even to the point of sometimes being careless. We do the same thing with the precepts of God, not realizing that they are like a career in computer programing. No matter how great your knowledge becomes, the foundational precepts must remain in place.
When we fail to adhere to foundational principles, its usually by choice. Like I said earlier, it’s not that we’re not aware of our wavering, we just choose to ignore it. When people speak of car collisions, they call it an accident. I don’t call them accidents; I call them collisions. I don’t call them an accident because too often they occurred because someone was doing just what they intended to do. It could have been cutting someone off, getting across the light when they know they should have stopped, looking down too long to text or read a text, or give your attention to a conversation or argument in the car when you should have been focusing on the road. They’re not accidents their collisions that occur because of someone doing exactly what they intended to do. No they didn’t intend to have a crash, but the thing that they decided to do rather than focusing on the road and proper operation of the vehicle is always what leads to the crash.
We can be just as reckless with the things of God. This is why Paul ended up having to say that many of you need to be returned to learning the foundational things. Not because you never knew them, but because You’ve somehow obtained an ability to completely disavow them. Too often your state of wavering has come from being around someone that you thought was ahead of you in growth, but their behavior was contrary to where it should have been. And you became a product of the environment that they were manifesting. Or maybe you’ve slowly receded back into the past endeavors of a fleshly heart. Allowing the things of God to remain present, but Existing in an environment that is filled with white noise, distorting the clarity of truth and Causing you to have no power to desire or initiate growth.
The concept of finding God consist of not only coming to the reality that he exists, but coming to know him, for he is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him. Tell me what person would find that there is a spectacular home waiting for them to take possession of it, journey to the location of that home, and never enter to tour it. Isn’t it the same when you claim to have found god and stand with a lack of interest to know his heart. If you don’t know him in his sovereignty, you will remain unable to elevate him above the other gods that will exist in your life. The key to rising above this state of hindrance is understanding that the heart of man under his own control is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9)
Hebrews 3:10 says:
Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, they do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
The heart of man under his own control is likened to a freight train coming off a of a mountain at 100 miles an hour. It’s configured for disaster. That’s the reason why when Jesus gave the foundational precept of god, he began with the Lord thy God is one Lord. You must first receive him as the Sovereign authority within your life. But that’s only the beginning, because now you must learn to love the Lord thy God with all your HEART, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength (Mathew 22:37). It must begin with your heart, because this is the ground of spiritual manifestation. It is from here that all the attributes of man are controlled. If the endeavors of the heart are perverted, the search for the heart of God is hindered. In Psalms 51:10-13 David prayed
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
David’s prayer sought restoration of the heart, soul, and spirit. Not for himself only, but also that sinners might come to know God through his witness. The vastness of the heart of God is beyond the intellectual comprehension of man, therefore his ways must be understood through a clean heart. That’s why we must diligently seek him. Because there is never a point of arrival. It is a lifelong journey into understanding the depth of who he is and all that he would desire of us; moment by moment. My biggest concern is that we have failed to be evidence of the glory of God among men. The world has watched us and rather than seeing a reason for change, they have in most cases come to believe that there’s no need for change. If we are to be true evidence of everything that should be in the life of a committed son of God, we must first find the hindering factors that too often are rooted in the endeavors of the heart. I pray that the chapters ahead of you will be the beginning of an ability to search yourself with sincerity.
When it comes down to the concept of intellect, what God’s word said about it, and how it challenges the validity of our walk, there are only two scriptures needed to bring clarity
Proverbs 3:5-6 says
- Trust in the Lordwith all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6.In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Mathew 22:37
- Love theLord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
On paper that might seem to be a very simple process. But unless you have a clear understanding of the hindering factors that exist between the heart and the mind, you will have no ability to fulfill either of these directives. The foundation of our relationship with God begins when we acknowledge His love with-in the depths of our heart. And once we have accepted him within our heart, that relationship even accesses our eternal soul, if we accept him in our whole heart. Allowing the smallest of anti-Christ authority to remain in hidden areas of the heart can lead to detrimental failure. It’s almost like building a house on a bad foundation, even though the erected product looks good, its destined to develop cracks.
The element that will challenge the validity of your heart is the mind. This is where we perceive and intellectualize according to our own viewpoint. This is where we develop a ability to disregard what we know to be right in our heart. So exactly how does the intellect of the mind supersede what you know to be right in your heart? Looking back at the verse in Mathew, we see that Jesus said to love the lord thy God with ALL your heart, ALL your soul, and ALL your mind. Many fail to truly fulfill the requirement of ALL. A failure of ALL in steps 1 causes inability of the entire process. By the time that we come to the mind, its easily able to manipulate the heart because the heart has not been fully surrendered to God.
Jeremiah 17:9 says: 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Throughout the word of God we can find a multitude of circumstances where people who clearly loved God, failed to maintain the desire of His heart in many ways. Abraham trusted the word God had given Him, and he rested on it. But when a period of time had passed, Sarah expressed her own thoughts about God’s plan, and she even gave her take on how to help God. And as for Abraham, rather than bringing his own thoughts into captivity to the directive of God’s intent, he intellectualized his wife’s opinion. His intellectual perception offered a clear excuse as to why it wasn’t necessary to wait on God. So he acted out her directive, and had a baby with her hand maiden Hagar. (Genesis 16) Now when God’s plan was eventually initiated through Sarah, here she comes again with an opinion on how to undo the previous act of intellectual perception. Now an innocent woman and her child (Hagar and Ishmael) to the heart-ship of Abraham, are cast into the wilderness alone. (Genesis 21). Abraham’s decisions were based on the desire of his heart to please his wife. He never even considered that he would not be pleasing God. He wanted her happiness more than God’s.
I remember when my wife and I were in the first weeks of our relationship. I stated to her that I do not trust any woman. Needless to say that her response was quite aggressive, so I needed to give a clearer understanding of what I really meant. How often have you been in the presence of someone’s conversation, and you knew that everything coming out of their mouth was nothing short of oppressive. It’s for this reason that whenever we are receiving words from someone we should be listening for the presence of God in what they are saying. So when I said I trust no woman I meant that I do not trust the flesh but I look for the revelation of God in their words. This is where the power to draw my focus comes from. And I also told her that you should never trust a word that comes out of my mouth if it cannot bring the peace serenity revelation and truth that is with God. God doesn’t want to control our lives, he just wants to be accepted in every part of it. That can only happen if we accomplish the tasks of Proverbs 3:5-6 and Mathew 22:37
Proverbs 3:5-6 says
- Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6.In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Mathew 22:37
- Love theLord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
When we first discover the depth of Gods love, our heart is pricked with desire to know Him. Just like when you met that person who meant so much to you, but now you find yourself rarely caring about their feelings. The heart wants what it wants when it wants it. And can be desperately wicked in its attempt to acquire. If we do not allow the desires of our heart to be engrafted with the ways of God, we are capable of every dark work, in and out of the presence of God. And we can even eventually treat him just like that that relationship that has (quote) lost its spark.
Inability to make every thought subject to the obedience of Christ cannot be accomplished if your heart is not first obedient to the directives of Christ. A heart that is not fully surrendered to Christ remains in its state of deceitful wickedness. Thus it is subject to the recommendations of the intellect, according to its own lust. There are some factors in life that should be easily perceived through the spiritual directive of right and wrong. But in many of them, we as a people have made conscious decisions to forgo Gods proclamation of right and wrong for our own perception.
I have never seen an uprising of intellect as great as what we have seen through the administration of President Donald Trump. When dealing with the things of God, our focal point should never be intellectual perception, but revelation of the Spirit of truth that lives within us. Now I’m not trying to attribute any of the failures I’m about to present as being the fault of Donald Trump, but his social honesty caused others to be real with who the already were.
Isaiah 55:8-9 reads:
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
It was intellect that turn the hearts of the people away from God in the desert in the time of the great provocation. And even today Christian institutions of education have exalted intellectual fortitude above the revelation of the Holy Spirit. In this hour has every ecumenical system come to trust the intellect that man has placed on God’s word rather than the revelation of his spirit.
The Scriptures told us that rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. That’s because for you to know God and rebel against what is right by him, you must first go in and shut your spirit off. Once you do that, all the error of your walk is embedded not only in your intellect, but now it has made its way into your heart
Hebrews 3:10-13 says
10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
11 So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
God it’s not a man that he should change, and the same as he bared wrath against the rebellion of his people in the day of the rebellion, so does he bare wrath against it now. The only difference now is that you are under grace that is withholding that wrath.
Don’t be mistaken as many are, grace is not a free pass. The very definition of grace is a period of extended consideration. You’re in a space and time where you need to make a decision what it’s going to take for you to truly serve God in the depth of all that you understand about him. With the people of Israel he said they have never known my ways and he swore By an oath that they would not enter into His rest.
Many feel that they are living a life of solitude. When all they really have is the benefits of their financial and worldly gains. There is a special place of rest that can be found within the kingdom of God. When you are in a kingdom there is one sovereign ruler; and it’s not you, your money, your job, or the power of your hand. Maybe you would feel that I’m being a bit hard and what I’m saying but the scriptures made it clear.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
To exhort someone is to encourage and press them to do what is right, but you can’t do that unless you have come to a place of correctness in your own walk. And that’s impossible if we are deceived by sin that lives in us. Today can you say that you’re sure that you have not been hardened through the deceitfulness of sin in your walk with God? Through the administration of Donald Trump, and the era of Covid, many that believe they love God have manifested ongoing spirits of anger, malice, variance, and worse of all, denial. I remember how upset I became when I heard him say on national TV that maybe they could drink bleach. While expressing the depth of my anger I heard the voice of God say, John, leave Donald John leave Donald alone. My response was, but he told them to drink bleach. This is when the Lord said to me, you do not know Donald, you only know the dark works of his hand. And if there is a good work in his hand you would never see it because you don’t desire to. When your life was in a place where you chose to walk as one addicted to drugs I never judged you by the content of your hand. I only judge you by the content of your heart. And I knew that the works of your hand were not a reflection of what you desired in your heart. It is I and I alone that will judge the earth and I have not done it as of yet. It is my desire that none should be lost, so would I not seek Donalds Hart just as much as I have yours? So why do you feel it necessary to judge Donald when you do not know his heart? The question that I have for you, is why do you choose to exit the place of peace, serenity, and joy that I share with you? Just to express your fleshly anxiety about him when his actions have no effect on my kingdom.
I’m not the only guilty one. There are those of us who profess the love of God and we involved ourselves in protesting in the midnight hour. But protests are held during the hours that the legislature are in their offices, so why are we out at 2:00 AM. it’s alright that many of us supported Donald Trump because he was a value to our monetary disposition, but why have we chosen to deny the hateful and racist things that he has implemented through his words. Plain and simple the heart is wicked and for its own preservation it will support anything as long as it gets what it wants. What is it that your heart really wants today? Is it the will of God, or what you believe you can acquire by having him serve you rather than you serving him? It is imperative that we search our heart to understand where we are.
“Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.”
Psalms 119:2, KJV
“With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.”
Psalms 119:10, KJV
“KOPH. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.”
Psalms 119:145, KJV
“And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.”
Jeremiah 24:7, KJV
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13, KJV
“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.”
Proverbs 8:17, KJV
My Brethren, if the heart is not fully surrendered to the ways of God then it is vulnerable to the manipulation of the intellect. The heart is already designed to be manipulated by the intellect. the only way to change that is to turn the fullness of over to the ways of God. A heart fully surrendered to the will of God will bring the intellect into subjection
II Corinthians 10:3-6 reads
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
I pray that the God of all creation will bestow upon you a greater wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and vision of what is true in today’s world, that you might be evidence of the changes that must be seen in the mitts of his people.
Where Is Your Faith
CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO PODCAST
Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, but KNOWING beyond the shadow of a doubt, comes only by the spirit. When you turn up a bottle of cold soda, do you need faith to assure you of the satisfaction to come? If you’ve been driving an old car that always gives you trouble starting, you tend to pray with faith that it will start; but when you buy a brand new car, do you still have faith that it will start, or do you rest in the assuredness of what you know? If you truly hope for something, and have no tangible element to encourage that hope, then faith IS that element; substance of that which as of yet, is not. The time card hanging next to the clock is the evidence of deliverance to come, but what if there is no job? The way to be made is evident through the revelations of the spirit. But faith has 2 ends, the foundation thereof, and the transition thereof.
Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man THE measure of faith.
It’s funny how often we read God’s word, receive knowledge of the truth, but never come to the revelation of it. I need to make something VERY CLEAR. In order to transcend to new levels there must be two present elements; truth & revelation. We so often get the truth of a thing, but too often, never reach the point of revelation. You say to a small child,” Don’t touch that, it’s hot!” The knowledge of the truth has been brought forth. Now that child eagerly reveals that fact by pointing and telling everyone that enters the room,” hot”. But not long after, that child bearing the knowledge of the truth overlooks all that he has learned and moves too close to the source of the heat. Now the physical perception of the heat has given him a greater ability to understand through revelation of the fact. Through knowledge we obtain the measure of faith, but that faith grows through revelation of all things true.
What we find in Romans 12:3 is the very thing that was made accessible to that child when he was told not to touch the stove; THE measure of faith; Just enough for him to make a decision as to which way he should go. With-in every man is just what he needs to accept Christ upon the revelation of His promise. But he still bears the ability to forego the truth. And in them that retain the truth, that small measure of faith warrants the revelation of the spirit that begins the growth process. So many of us speak of the greatness of our own faith but let’s look and see just how great it really is.
Mathew 8:5-10
5. And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6. And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him
8. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it
10. When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Now with that in mind, let me ask you one question. How many of us, while standing in the presence of our Lord, would turn Him back from coming to our place of need? I have heard the words spoken over the pulpit,” Lord we know that you are able BUT we need to see a move of your hand. Our very presence in this life is a move of His hand, the elements in the universe that remain intact, is in fact a move of His hand. While facing the dangers of the sea, Paul set forward a word that draws the line between common everyday Christian faith, and the latter day son’s of God.
Acts 27:20-25
20. And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
21. But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
22. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.
23. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
24. Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
25. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I BELEIVE God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
Many speak of belief, when really all that have is faith. You see faith is something to hold onto, until the manifestation of that which we hope has come to pass. But BELEIF is the element that commands that we already be subject to that which we do not yet see.
Acts 28:3-6
3. And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
4. And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
5. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
6. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
Do you see how in verse 4 the people that watched Paul were without doubt subject to the laws of nature, and believed them, But Paul BELEIVING God, could only respond to what he knew, and that was…GOD SAID. Therefore in verse 5 we see the actions of a man that was either ignorant, or knew something that no one else did. Now tell me, being truthful with yourself, in the moment of your own fiery viper trial, what do you see yourself doing.
In the midst of your ministering of the mercies of Christ, the viper catches you unaware. The eyes of them unto whom you declared His glory are now upon you. The spirit that was compelling you in your words is still present, but do you still feel Him. Or maybe you’ve been distracted by that laws of life fact that says there is poison pulsing through your veins. Wisdom says seek help, but reality says there is none with-in timely reach. What do them that are among you now see? In this space in time that there is nothing you can do but believe God, do the people see one that prays diligently in faith, hoping for deliverance? Or do they see one that never skips a beat, assured by an ongoing BELIEF in what the Father has spoken.
BELIEF needs not to be spoken of, people see it. The question is will you allow your faith to reach its point of transition into whole hearted belief? This is when we become evidence of the Glory of God among men. The men who watched Paul knew only of pagan God’s, and of none that would empower anyone that followed them. So when they witnessed these things, they could only come to the conclusion that Paul himself was in fact a God. (Acts 28:6) When in reality, he was evidence of the Glory of God among men.
We have been called to these same proofs. But the lack of elevation continues to hinder us. Remember in the beginning of this chapter we spoke about Revelation and truth being the 2 key factors for elevating to another level? Well our failure to adhere to BELIEVING God is what has hindered that growth process. Paul warned us in I Corinthians 3:2 that the presence of carnal desires would hinder us from growing to where we could digest the greater things of God, and even today the issue that he spoke of still exist. Why?…Revelation, but no acknowledgement of the truth. Too many go beyond the bounds to proclaim there allegiance to the works of a fellowship rather than the design of the Father. Are we not one church, One Lord, One Faith, One Hope, One Calling? This is why the word of God declares that the five fold ministry must remain in full effect even today (Ephesians 4:11.) Regardless of what some desire to believe, we have not come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man.
Just as Paul, them that Believe God, does what God says. They are first subject to the leading of the spirit. Not only in them but in whatever spirit led leadership that God has proclaimed in there lives. You have to believe for a whole lot more than just your own selfish desires. You have to believe for the saving of many souls, the fulfillment of His will in the lives of all Christianity, and the unfolding of all the great works that He claimed would follow us. Unfortunately the simplest but hardest one for us today seems to continue to be our love one for another. ( John 13:35)
Our shortcoming as a whole is rooted in unbelief. Faith must transcend to the level of whole hearted belief, or we end up where Paul placed in Hebrews 5:12
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
It’s time for us to stop basing not only our faith, but our belief upon the directives of God; and not what we desire or choose to accept. This is an issue of monumental proportion, and far more than I can address in this book. But let me give you an example of self structured faith.
The daughter of a senior in Christ called and asked if I might be able to look at her mother’s car. She made it known that several mechanics, as well as the dealership, were unable to isolate the problem. After 15 minutes of driving it would cut off and wouldn’t start for an extended period of time. Being one that believes that the full purpose of my life is encompassed by God’s order, I stand strong in the fact that my knowledge, regardless of how great can not uncover the unseen. So on the trip over I prayed. “Father as I set my hands to this tasks that I have endeavored many times, let not my trust be in mine own intellect, but reveal unto me the things already known by the spirit of truth which thou have sent. Reveal unto me the issue of this matter that I may glorify thee”. Upon arriving at her house, I lifted the hood and began to look around for any obvious irregularities. I then heard that small still voice whisper, “look” (John 14:26). My response was, “where”? My hands were led as I reached under the distributor and pulled down on the wire harness, forcing the wires to stretch out of the boot. And there it was, cracked wire insulation. When the car got warm, the boot would soften, and the wires would arc, cutting the car off. After re-insulating the area, I asked the owner to take a ride with me and we were off. But the whole time she chanted,” It’s gonna cut off, I know it, nobody can fix it”. About 35 minutes later, her words turned to. I can’t believe it, you fixed this car. When we arrive at her house, she continued to say with amazement, “You fixed that car; you said you would, and Lord knows you did it”. I looked her in the eyes and said,” Mother, what you need to understand is that when I knew the depth of your problem, I prayed and declared God’s revelation of the problem. I didn’t do it, give credit to the Holy Spirit, He fixed it,” Now listen very close to her response. “Ohhh Nooo, you fixed that car! I sat here and watched you with my own eyes, and you fixed it. I love the word of God, as long as it’s being taught as I’ve come to understand it. But you fixed that car.” She said she loved the word of God, but declared that Proverbs 3:56 was just a line. How? It’s found in what she said, “I love THE WORD of God”. Let me ask you a question. Can the WORD of God wake you up in the midnight hour with the directive to call someone right now; someone who’s in the midst of a hardship that you knew nothing of? The word of God does support, reaffirm, and confirm the action, but the guidance came from the Holy Spirit. I John 2:27 The word of God is in fact milk. How can something so powerful simply be milk? It has all that is needed to develop the spiritual palette. Establishing not only its ability, but also its discernment of what is spiritually digestible. All you have to do is swallow it; but too often we want to remove the ingredients that we don’t agree with. But what if you took the calcium out of milk, the element that strengthens the digestive system enough to receive meat has been removed. Hence the child will continue to be able to digest nothing but milk. This is what we do when we take away from the word of God. We remove its ability to strengthen our spiritual digestive system, hence Hebrews 5:12. In this state of mind, you lack acknowledgement of the full power given unto the Son’s of God. You therefore will tend to walk with a trust in your own intellect. You do not seek the spirit in reference to things that you think you understand, because you already know all about it. That’s exactly what the Jews thought when they crucified the Lord of Glory; before the mystery that was hidden in Christ was revealed. Let me give you a good example of digesting spiritual meat. The offering time had come about. The woman in question ran a day care center and had her pay of $1600.00 in her purse. As she reached for her tithe, she heard “Give all unto Him who has given all.” When the pastor was informed of this large contribution, he knew it could have been no one but her. When he asked her if she would be alright financially, she told him “I have to be, I did what God told me to.” He responded with, ”You have no idea what you delivered us from”. The church was in a financial situation, and the Pastor had received in prayer that God had already taken care of what was His. But more than 70% of us would have choked on that piece of meat and spit it out.
Spiritual Meat: The revelations of God with-in your own spirit, things that surpass your understanding and can only be received where there is true submission to the will of the Father. Know that these revelations are always pre supported by the ordinance of His word.
If the Pastor had not grown to digest spiritual meat, he would have attempted to burden the people for the debt, but God told him it was covered, and he swallowed it. The word of God with-out revelation of the spirit can be a dangerous thing. Through His teaching, we are obedient unto sacrifice. By our own faith directive, we turn it all to benefit our needs.
I John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
This one verse shows us that there is no excuse for the lack of evidence that we have given unto the world as a whole. But there is a reason. Take a walk through the corridors of your own heart. In how many rooms have you hidden factors that hinder you from transcending into whole hearted belief, factors that the spirit of truth has given you a clear revelation of, but still you have not come to accept; factors that have kept you in a word without spiritual revelation perspective. And last but not least, factors that have kept you abiding in a space just short of the inner sanctum of His guidance. This chapter has essentially scraped the surface of the elements of hindrance with-in the Secondary Fellowship. But it is more than adequate enough to provide a gateway of growth. That is to those who really seek it.
Christian… A title synonymous with son’s of God. But many that carry the title more than lack in their abilities to reflect the attributes given of God. Unfortunately Christianity as a whole has failed to be evidence of the Glory of God among men, but this was the first thing that Christ did in all His works. So how could we possibly declare the deity of the word made flesh and fail to reflect all that he made possible in us?
From one end of God’s word to the other, we were warned of the short comings that would befall much of the body of Christ. This is the venue designed to give revelation of the elements that have effectually hindered us from walking as Son’s of the most high. The question is what will you do once you know the truth?
In the call of a modern day Apostle it is imperative that my actions and intent clearly manifest honor of all that God is. Moreover I declare nothing of myself except that I must be subject to the directives of His Holy Spirit. For even as in times past, a true Apostle must glorify God in all of his endeavors. The mandate to point the hearts of man back to Father God is the sole purpose of my ministry efforts. A messenger need not prove a thing, God will reveal Himself. That is to all who dare to truly seek Him.
Change isn’t a hard thing at all. the problem is accepting that there is a need for change. If you can muster the revelation of your own hidden motives, I can guarantee that the teachings to be found here will be a great assistance in finding the launch pad for change in your own life
There are times that we will find things in the word of God that take us by surprise. Things that we’ve heard over and over, yet never came to a revelation of exactly what it meant. I was awakened at 3 AM on January the 27th of 2022 With the following revelation from the Holy Spirit. A portion of the things that the Lord has directed us to pray to the father are lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever, Amen (Mathew 6:13). The Lord God would never direct the Holy Spirit to lead us into temptation, so why would Jesus direct us to pray such a thing? In order to make this revelation clear, I first need to refer to some other scriptures.
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Jeremiah 17:9
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
While dealing with the subject of temptation I would like to first confront the matters of a fleshly heart. As I look back over the last two years this nation has proven that the heart is in fact desperately wicked. Within the body of Christ there is but one truth, and that truth is whatever God is saying in the moment. But in the last two years I have seen the nation reeling back and forth in the endeavors of self. From personal opinions about political constituents, to the perspectives of COVID, everybody has had an opinion and have been ready to literally fight to force it on others. But because the fleshly heart is only concerned with self, them who have been embellished in the exaltation of flesh have cared about nothing except what they feel. And a very select few have been asking God what he’s saying in the matters of this dispensation.
So when we look at the concept of temptation we first have to consider the endeavors of a man’s heart. Temptation comes from the wayward lust of the heart. But how could temptation come from God. In order to make this clear we first have to ask what is the greatest level of temptation that man will endure? When considering this question most people would think of the elements of life that would tempt a man. The lusts of the eye, the lusts of the hand, and the desire for things. But none of these were the temptations that Jesus was telling us to pray about.
The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who could know it. Because of this one fact, the temptations that Jesus spoke of lives within us. And that temptation is to be in rebellion against the word and the will of God. Why, because that’s what flesh does. It fights for self, it preserves self, and it believes self. Yes, the Lord’s word does say agree to disagree, but not with Him. Still there many things that He cannot reveal to you in this day. Because you will be tempted to question the validity of what He has said. Just as Jesus said in John 16:12-14,I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Even so has He directed you to pray for that state of inability to receive what is contrary to the heart. The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked above all things who could know it. The only one who knows the heart of man is God. If man knew his own heart he wouldn’t be wayward in his commitment with the Lord. God in his mercy and omnipotence understands what you are ready to receive and not ready to receive. There is a vast amount of wisdom that he desires to give us but he cannot. Simply because he knows the matters of the heart that will cause you to stand in a moment of indecision of his directive. I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot as of yet receive it. Plain and simple, God said I will never put more on you than you can handle. And too often what we fail to recognize, is that what we can’t handle is the truth.
My question to you it’s what are the areas in your life that you have become so heart driven on supporting, believing, and defending, that you could never hear God’s contrary perspective on it? The scripture said lead us not into temptation, and that temptation is the opportunity to look at what God is saying and say OK yeah but. When the Holy Spirit speaks to you it is in a place of spiritual reign and authority of God. To reject the directives given in the spirit is in fact witchcraft. Because you have to go in and shut your spirit off from receiving God’s directive over the desires of the flesh. Hence witchcraft. Scriptures tell us that he has given us all things pertaining to life and godliness. And Jesus said If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” even though all that he would have for you is good, he knows the things that would be harmful to you. And with that in mind there are elements of revelation that he must keep from you because you are not ready to receive them to a point of transition.
As children the last thing that we would understand is having something kept away from us because it can be harmful. Because from our point of view it was serve our need just fine. And in the spirit there is a wall of retention keeping us away from the revelations of God that we are not yet ready to receive. Because in our state of potential rejection, it would do us more harm than good. And he would never place something on us that we cannot handle. And as I said in past paragraphs, too often the truth is what we can’t handle. lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever, Amen.
Essentially this verse is saying Lord keep me away from the things that could be a detriment to my spiritual growth and reveal to me any darkness that may live within me, that I may be delivered from it. For I have established myself in your Kingdom where all power authority and reign belong unto thee, now, henceforth, and forever. Amen
Idolatry: extreme admiration, love, or reverence for something or someone. When we search
God’s word we find many places in time where idolatry had some very adverse effects in the
presence of the people of God; which is why he gave us such a profound revelation of His hearts
viewpoint on this matter.
Exodus 20:3-6
3 “You shall have no other gods before me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on
the earth beneath or in the waters below.
5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous
God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of
those who hate me,
6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my
commandments.
Many of us earnestly believe that our social dispositions bare no ill intent in the world around us,
but root motivations for many things that we do, actually take us in to the realm of self-idolatry.
(making ourselves out to be God) Let’s first find where the word told us that such a state would
be. In the book of Psalms we find where there is a declaration of how we would make ourselves
out to be God’s; even exalting our power over the weak, and honoring only those who are greater
than us. As if they have a heaven or hell to place us in. Yet, the weak have power to declare a
greater day unto us, for they give opportunity to show the will of the Father through us.
Apostle John F. Morton / Self Endeavor / 81
Psalms 82
1. (A Psalm of Asaph) God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among
the gods.
2. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the
foundations of the earth are out of course.
6. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
For me the most profound verse in this chapter is 6-7. No matter what you think or do to exalt
yourself above another, or to obtain power through another you are ALL children of the most
High who shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. But in the mean time we exemplify
every effort to Lord over the poor and the weak, because they magnify our greatness through
their obvious substandard existence in our presence. We even support the power of the God’s of
flesh in the fellowships extorting the poor to give what they don’t have. (verse 2) We accept the
spirit of the love of money into the presence of the things of God and we diligently aid those
with power to demand it.
The idolization of self is the most powerful sin of them all because as it grows it becomes less
obvious to the recipient because life is all about acquisition; and as we obtain we feel
accomplished and self-gratified. Now everything we do is about self. We learn to trust in the
power of our own hand. God is now just a part of our great journey to obtain; but He has nothing
to do with decision making because even though He is God, He’s not the first God in your life,
because you, your intent, desires, hopes, dreams, lust, and ambitions are first. You have become
the God before Him. And everything you do, no matter who you do it for, it all comes back to
your self-gratification and gain. The idolization of self is now at full keel, unhindered by any
thoughts of righteousness. So how can we end up in a state such as this?
Sadly, for many it begins with the foundation of their relationship with God. Someone told
you that if you believed that Christ died for your sins and accepted Jesus into your heart that you
would be saved. But they never told you that belief is not simply a state of being, but it is
indicated through actions. The scriptures say with all that you get, get understanding; but many
have no understanding of how to serve God. And they believe that their service to him is
manifested on the Venereal Day of The Sun. A day that the Catholic Church chose to redefine as
the Sabbath day.
The Spirit of the living God does not leave us void of the revelation of our adverse decisions,
but He does not force his directive on us. However He will second the motion that you declare
within your own life. One thing that you need to understand is that a decision is made where
there is in fact a choice to be made. Many have no idea that they have made the decision to
follow a lie. Therefore, has the Spirit of the lord turned them over to their ability to trust and
believe the lie.
(II Thessalonians 2:11-12 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they
should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure
in unrighteousness.) This is where the sin unto death is born.
I John 5:16 reads as follows: If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall
ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not
say that he shall pray for it.
Now it’s important for you to take note that the scripture did not say a sin OF death but a sin
UNTO death; in other words, a sin that you will commit unto the day of your departure. In 55
years of life, I have never heard a single messenger teach on this scripture. If the scriptures tell us
that there is potential for something that could be so serious that God tells us not to pray for it,
why is there no teaching on the understanding of such a thing. No part of the word of God is
hidden from us. We do however decide not to be interested in the parts that declare something
other than what we desire from Him. The scriptures tell us that with much knowledge comes
much responsibility. Up until now, I’ve given much information that you have had the
option to receive, or not. But the coming publications are going to establish a pivotal moment in your
walk with the Lord. Pivotal in the sense that they will uncover your root evidence of self idolatry; or pivotal in empowering you to remain in a state of denial.
One thing is for sure, the word of God endures of itself. With that in mind, there is no
scripture within the word of God that isn’t supported by many others. So let’s go through the
subject of the sin unto death with the most referenced method possible. First of all, understand
that all things in the physical world are in fact motivated by the spirit realm. There are spirits of
light and spirits of darkness, and we are too often not attentive of which ones we are subject. The
beginning of the sin unto death has to do with an ability to resist the revelations of the Holy
Spirits guidance. This in essence is manifest by a spirit of rebellion. Before going any further let
me reiterate what I said in chapter 3. In order for you to know, love, and desire God’s will and
still walk in contrary ways, you must first be exposed to, and be accepting of the spirit of
confusion. For how can a man reject that which is right unless he is first confused?
The spirit of confusion can establish a foothold through our implementing our own
perspectives into the things of God. We’ve seen it done time and time again by the kings over
Israel, but let’s focus on just one for now. During the reign of King Saul there was only one
mandate, and that was whatever God said through His messenger Samuel. There’s nothing
confusing about that. But just as satan placed a question of what God said into the mind of not
just Eve, but Adam as well, so did he do with King Saul. Even to the point of making God sorry
that He made him King.
I Samuel 15:10-26
Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,
It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following
me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried
unto the LORD all night.
And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying,
Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed
on, and gone down to Gilgal.
And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have
performed the commandment of the LORD.
And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the
lowing of the oxen which I hear?
And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the
best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we
have utterly destroyed.
Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this
night. And he said unto him, Say on.
And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head
of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?
And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the
Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.
Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil,
and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?
And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone
the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have
utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should
have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.
And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in
obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken
than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being
king.
And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of
the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship
the LORD.
And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of
the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.
Confusion begins when we even consider implementing our own perspectives into the things of
God. Rebellion begins when we make the conscious decision to trust our own endeavor rather
than being subject of the directives of His Holy Spirit. Rebellion is as witchcraft…how? Moving
forward with intent to manipulate the Spirit realm by anything other than the directive of His
Holy Spirit is witchcraft. In order for you to forego the directives of the Holy Spirit in your own
life, you must first allow your flesh man to take precedence over the leading in your Spirit, thus
shutting God out….witchcraft.
Hebrews 13:5 says: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such
things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may
boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Saul was king over the people and still he justified his rebellion through his fear of the people.
Saul’s sin against God was found in his idolization of his image before the people. He even
feared the people more than God. In a moment where he had opportunity to please God, he
implemented his own perspectives in to God’s will. The thing about being in a place such as this
is that you have no idea how far it has to go before God knows that you will not turn back. God
knew at this point that Saul would never truly turn back from his sin, so the anointing of God’s
hand was removed from Saul; and he was removed from being King. This is a prime example of
the sin unto death. So how do we know when someone is in a sin unto death and why should we
not pray for it. Let me clarify that the scripture does not say to not pray for the individual, but it
is saying not to come before God about this iniquitous nature they have embraced…why? There
rebellion has become so great that not only God sees how they have come to embrace it, but they
have no shame in defending it before the people. Therefore your prayers over this matter are
asking God to change what this person has declared to be acceptable in there site. They are now
walking in their right to Galatians 5:13. While at the same time being susceptible to II
Thessalonians 2:11-12 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should
believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness. This is where the sin unto death is born. I would like to reiterate the end of
chapter 4
I Corinthians 5:11-12
11. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a
brother BE a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an
extortioner; with such a one no not to eat.
12. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that
are within? 13. But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among
yourselves that wicked person.
The key word here is BE. No matter how hard you try, you cannot get a meow out of a
dog. It’s a dog…it barks…no manner of convincing changes that. These are the ones
whom whenever correction comes, they can justify all things, regardless of the depth of
the iniquity. They believe that they can escape correction through the old proverbial Flip
Wilson excuse, “The devil made me do it.” These have a form of Godliness, but deny the
power thereof. There spiritual rebellion IS a witchcraft in the presence of the people (I
Samuel 15:23). Know them. As well as you should know them that DOES labor among
you. (I Thessalonians 5:12) Those of the outer gathering do serve a purpose. But will they
command the revelation of your approval in God’s presence…or your compromise.
I Corinthians 11:19. For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are
approved may be made manifest among you.
I know that the majority of you that have read this far will in fact continue to walk in the ecumenical errors of your mind, all because your environment supports and condones it. But remember that Jesus said the day will come when many who proclaim a life committed to Him will be met with the words, ”Depart from me ye that work iniquity, for I never knew you”. One thing we must first understand
in order to rise in our relationship with the Father is to accept that JESUS DID NOT DIE
FOR YOU….He died FOR THE LOVE OF THE FATHER. That the Fathers plan for
your life might be worked out. But self-endeavor has caused many of us to walk with the
intent of obtaining all that we can get because we believe that the sacrifice of Christ has
caused God to owe us something. Rather than walking as Christ and doing all for the love
of the father, we do all for our own gain expecting the Father to show His love for us. If
you consider what I have given here Don’t receive a word of it without seeking God’s
guidance. But if he confirms all that I have revealed, will you turn back on all that you
have come to trust? Or will you justify all that you are outside of Him, for the purpose of
continuing to walk in your own power. Unacknowledged iniquities can very well become
a sin unto death.
To them that have an ear let them hear what sayeth the Lord of YOUR HOUSE
The Birth Of Self Deception
From the moment that we are born we find ourselves in a battle to do 2 things, to force our own desires and intents, or to acclimate ourselves to the world around us. Regardless of which one we’re walking in, the purpose can always be brought back to the intent of self-gratification. It’s only natural that a child would cry and flail his arms and legs to communicate an urgent need. So, even at a young age we are learning to manipulate our environment through behavior. The issue begins when we begin to understand that we can manipulate things to appease to our own lust, even deceiving ourselves to believe that our intents are acceptable. And the power to do so increases as we venture into this life. The power of self-deception is rooted in the corruption of self-endeavor. Self-endeavor can be very viable. It is a compelling force of self-preservation and self-motivation. But once corrupted it empowers you to configure all things to your own perspective, desires, lust, and intents.
Corrupted self-endeavor magnifies the elements of flesh, and flesh loves Self. In its corruption state, self-endeavor becomes self-indulging, self-absorbed, self-willed, and self-serving. These are unending elements of fallen flesh. The flesh nature of Self turns in on itself. It is selfish, prideful, arrogant, haughty, vain, narcissistic, manipulative, controlling, dominating, impatient, stubborn, insensitive, resentful, angry, unteachable, rebellious, fearful, anxious, complaining, disagreeable, judgmental, negative, critical, cynical, indifferent, greedy, lustful, sensual, envious, covetous, jealous, fault-finding, dishonest, and deceitful. It is deceived and suffers from delusions of grandeur. It always asking, “What’s in it for me?”
A mother that has known for the longest that her son was involved in a vicious circle of crime, still believes his innocence when he’s arrested for murder. In a world where we have labeled sense as being common, we have proven it to be everything but common; we have come to trust that seeing is believing. Then we deny what is not only intellectually, but visually revealed to us. A mob that is hell bent on getting community justice against a SUSPECTED child molester can’t be turned back regardless of the revelation of their wrong directives. The small child that gets the idea that he can fly because he is wearing a cape, is in big trouble if someone doesn’t stop him. To those of us who like to watch Cop shows, let’s not forget the criminal that’s running on 2 flat tires and still believes that he can escape the pursuing police cars.
But what about you? What areas of your life have preserved self-deceptive ways that motivates you outside of spiritual reality? This category of my blog will present many true to life scenarios that without a doubt will aid you in better understanding areas of self-deception in your own life; and how to defeat them. You’ll find that many of these un-seen areas have in fact been life long, but acknowledgement is the beginning of change.
