Throughout the old testament we find numerous occasions when the people of God, regardless of their desire to serve Him, were still in constant contradiction to His will. If you look around our fellowships today with a sincerity of heart you will see that we’re in that very same place today. All because we compromise our spiritual values for the purpose of being accepted by the world; rather than compelling the world to receive us. This is the line in the sand that comes once you know the truth, but will YOU accept. The word of God says that there is a way that seemeth right, but the end thereof is destruction. When we stand before Him, there will be no excuses. What have you compromised for the sake of unity? Make a change while there’s still time.
It’s funny how often we read God’s word, find a line of unadulterated truth, but never come a revelation of it. I need to make something VERY CLEAR. In order to transcend to new levels there must be two present elements; Truth, and revelation. We so often learn the truth of a matter, but too often, never obtain revelation ( A Full Uncovering that brings understanding). You say to a small child,” Don’t touch that, it’s hot!” The truth has been brought forth. But soon as the opportunity arises, they forego the truth for the sake of maintaining that which they desired; touching the stove. Now that they’re burned, they not only have truth . but revelation of that truth. But will they hold to the new understanding…..or not
I John 5:16 is the only scripture that speaks of a sin unto death; and this very thing has come to live and breathe within the very heart of our fellowship. And it’s fueled by the elements of II Timothy 3. Unbeknownst to many; that sin unto death is the sin of rebellion. The act of doing things in our own way, regardless of what we have come to know in the spirit. The very element by which so many of us now walk contrary to the FULL doctrine of Christ. Romans 6:16 says Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness. Are you now walking in a state of rebellion that will remain until the day you die, all for the sake of unity?
